"You can't tell where you're going unless you know where you've been."

This section of our web-site is dedicated to the players, coaches, parents,
volunteers and sponsors that have helped to make the
Toronto IceDogs Hockey Club the success it has been over the years. Please note that from the 1987/88 to 2004/05 seasons, the club was called the Weston Hawks.

2004/2005 Season

During the week-end of December 9-12 2004, the Weston Hawks Atom A team traveled to Sudbury to take part in the Northern Ontario Regional Silver Stick. The competition was fierce and the boys had never seen so much hitting. The team lost their first games but went into the Consolation round. After a very hard game, where they were out shot 19 to 13 and had to defend consecutive 5-on-3 situations, they won 5-0 to capture the Consolation Bell Canada Cup. The team's goalie was MVP twice in the tournament for his superb effort.

Given they are a first year team with only 4 returning players, the coaches feel they're doing a great job and keep getting better game-after-game. The team also reached the finals in the Weston Hawks Fall Classic, and are learning all the time.

In a hard fought battle against the undefeated Barrie Colts, the 2003/04 O.M.H.A. champions, the Weston Hawks Minor Peewee "AA" team won 3-2 in the finals to take home the Weston Hawks Fall Classic '04 Minor Peewee "AA" Championship Trophy.

The Weston Hawks Minor Peewee "AA" team went undefeated throughout Clancy Tournament to capture the title. The team played the Mississauga Hornets in the final, putting forth a tremendous effort winning 4 to 1.
